My modeling career has taken me all over the world from Miami to Munich to Hong Kong. I’ve covered commercial, fashion and editorial modeling, booking work with clients such as Diesel, BC Lotto Corporation and G Star Raw.
I started my work in Vancouver as a head scout and HR advisor for Model and Talent Search Canada. With this company, I scouted for models and actors across North America. My interest in learning the business side of the entertainment industry led me to get involved in some great projects.
With my connections and resources, I created and managed a modelling competition called Hook Me Up: I Want a Modeling Contract in Vancouver, where I selected 10 finalists to complete various challenges in order to win a modelling contract from a top local agency.
Immediately after this event, I dove into another inspiring project called Rock the Hem Line, which I created and led. The project was a fashion show, showcasing four Vancouver-based designers’ Fall 2010 collection.
In the summer of 2010, I accepted an internship at Ford Models and worked for the Director of the Men’s board. Here I learned how to become an agent and represent models.
I’m currently in Victoria, BC, working as a freelance photographer. To see my photography work, see photography.robtrinh.com.
